We guarantee this bird to be healthy at the time of sale. We also
guarantee
that this bird is free of any condition of ill health that can be
determined
from external examination of the bird in addition to the following
avian
diseases based on the negative test results of the parent
birds:
1) Psittacosis
2) Beak and Feather disease
3) Polyoma virus
This bird must be examined by an experienced avian veterinarian
within
72 hours after taking him home from our care or this guarantee is null
and
void. If upon examination of the bird and blood work results, the
veterinarian
determines that the bird does suffer from an illness, guaranteed above,
the
bird will be returned to B&G Aviaries with a copy of the
veterinarian’s
findings and we will refund your full purchase price. Any damages
will
be limited to the price paid for the bird. Bird must be
returned
with leg band intact and either leg band number or microchip
number
must be included on the lab results.
We recommend a yearly physical examination +/- blood work by an
avian
veterinarian to assure good health and any medical problems are
caught
early.
CURRENT DIET: Zupreem fruit blend parrot /conure pelleted diet
with
fruits
and vegetables offered at least twice weekly- (prefer daily for
babies).
Seed mix and nuts should be limited to 1 teaspoon three times weekly-
think
of it as junk food. Our birds eat most fruits and vegetables (bananas
and
corn are favorites).
